Wow liking the new site guys!

Although I never got an email with a new password in it so can't access the forum yet...hmmmm perhaps it's just a bit delayed.

Ah! I feel like I posted (on the new forum topic) before the welcome fanfare played :P Good to see the banner from that competition (a long time ago now) :)
The site is a huge cosmetic change from the old one -- I think I need to readjust my eyes but I'm sure I'll get used to it :) Lovely 'new day'-esque photo above ;)
Just confused about the timestamps on the comments above -- 2:19am? We're not there yet. Minor detail ;)

If anyone (like me) didn't get an email with a temporary password to access the forum attempt to log on (although it wont work) but then click 'forgotten password' and enter your username and email and it'll automatically send you a new one will work.

The font is a bit dodge, the 'w's, 'y's and 'v's make it quite hard on the eyes (and the brackets a bit too).
I would suggest using comic sans...or papyrus...a wee bit of curlz mt maybe, yeah, that's the ticket.

Welcome to the new Site

Hi,
We finally did it! After months of contemplating, changes of heart and re-designing, welcome to the new site :)
We've been wanting to change things on here for a while now, we felt like there was a lot of stuff on the old site which wasn't adding anything anymore, we wanted to have something that was simpler, more discussion based and which made it easier to socialise and talk with like minded (or un like-minded) people. We decided that what we liked best about the old one was the forum- it had some really interesting/important topics being discussed and was a great place to find links to other sites/interesting things, great quotes and some very talented people were posting their art/photography/videos and were able to discuss them with everyone.
By transferring it into this new forum, we shouldn’t have any of the problems that we were having before, however we were not able to bring forward your passwords, you should have all received an email with your new temporary password, which you can reset when you visit the site. We've transferred all the old topics onto the new forum so that they can carry on being discussed; we've also got a links section on the right with links to sites that I think are important or interesting so have a look when you've got a second.
Hopefully this new site will be a lot smoother and be a great place to talk about anything and everything, looking forward to hearing what you all think :)
