Thanks Kat. I had been walking down the street (Queens Street, Brisbane Australia) and had never taken notice of this old man sitting with a big issue magazine on his bright yellow vest...

I didn't know that what he's doing is for a cause.

This is really an eye opener.

I'll be part of it and I'll let you know the outcome. Thanks again!

Thanks for sharing this too.

I never really take notice of this old man holding a big issue magazine on his yellow vest. I had been walking everyday of my life at Queen Street, Brisbane Australia without realizing that what he's doing is for a cause.

#shameful

Anyway, I'll do my contributions by buying every issue that's out. I'll take a photo and send to you too. :) Thanks again!

Hi,

I had been walking on the streets of Brisbane, AUS and most often see folks selling the magazine on their yellow vest while they patiently wait for attention from every passersby... I am indeed guilty as one. I didn't know that what they were doing was for a cause.

I'll give back Kat by buying every new issue that's out. I'll post photos too. This was indeed and eye opener for me. Thanks again!

A couple of my mates are doing this. It's a really good idea!

Just a shame there is a minimum donation amount, I understand why they do it, but I think any amount of money should be accepted. I mean raising £1500 (for a team of 4) is incredibly difficult...if they lowered it I'm sure they'd raise more money in the longrun! But still I suppose they have to make sure people are doing it for the charity, rather than a spur of the moment thing...

It is a good thing though, I dont think people really appreciate how horrible it is spending a night on the streets, I've done a couple of street campouts and even in the summer it can get bloody cold! Best of luck to anyone taking park and well done! :) xxx
