This is a heartbreaking story, please read it. This is one brave women, who has not been allowed to grieve the death of her mother in any final way due to her complete lack of any memory of her. She barely speaks to her family due to other issues that the case bought up and the police and public have since lost interest in her mother's case. How can a case like this be dropped and a self-portrait taking monkey make page two news?
In this society, saints and demons live in the same neighborhood, and what? Ethics are just a veil, if we judge people, if we kill psychopats and jail thieves for the whole life, who is the demon then?
But, if we don't do anything at all, are we in the correct way?
I just mean that, it doesn't what you think or do, everything will be fine and wrong depending of the people who is observing it.
well all news is always negative and depressing isnt it? the talking monkey adds a bit of humor to a some-what depressing media? but i totally agree they should have atleast giving this women a mention to show people how hard life can be.
and one last question for you Kat, when does lethal get released? im really hanging to see you in another role instead of Emily hahaah.
hi. I'm 20, I'm from Buenos Aires, Argentina so my english is very poor. But I trust google translate to help me a bit.
Maybe it's just me but lots of things seem wrong these days. We don't think of people needs and welfare, like the need of Lauren to know the truth or have justice made for her mother. And she suffers the consequences of it. As we all do in different aspects of our lives. Here in Argentina would be a miracle if the police find the responsible of any crime at all. But here Justice is a very relative term (measured by the pesos in your bank account). Recently we had a case of a 11 years old little girl named Candela. She was kidnap two blocks away from her house. It was in all the tv news, newspapers, internet, missing children. Her mother was desperate. And ten days later she was found dead and raped in a garbage bag 30 blocks distance from her house. Then seems like her mother was involved in some point. The reveals of the investigations change every day to a point that it's ridiculous and people are starting to forget. (http://csafd.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=hc2011
Rather terrible what that women had to go through. She's incredibly brave. I couldn't imagine going through all that with my mom, and then being tossed to the side by my Dad? Thank God she has her brother. This women is a modern day hero, the trauma she has been through yet she still remains upbeat and positive. Amazing. I reckon something will trigger an old memory and she'll soon be able to recall her childhood. I just hope when she does remember, if anything it'll make her a stronger person, rather then bring back unhappy thoughts and pain. I hope they find a new lead on her mothers case, and I wish Lauren happiness and good fortune. Thanks for sharing the article. xox
