The opening sequence of a girl killing herself shows this season is going to be darker and more intense than previously seasons. It is not going to be smooth sailing for the skins gang whereas last season we left Effy, Freddie, Cook and JJ sailing down the river, Pandora and Thomas starting over whilst the couple known as Naomily had openly declared their love for each other. The whole gang are at a nightclub and completely oblivious to the girl who is going to cause a huge domino effect on all of their lives. The dominos set off a chain reaction and affects their lives in more ways than one starting with Thomas.

Thomas loses his way while struggling with his religious beliefs after the death of the girl at his club. The caring Thomas we have come to know disappears. Not only does he get expelled but also cheats on Pandora and this would be unthinkable to the old Thomas...

She’s flying through the air, hovering on the surface of reality as silence falls upon the room. She’s floating between the life she had and the life she was about to lose. In that moment, as she floated on the brink; time slowed, people froze and life as they knew it was coming to an end.

The underlying theme of this series was death. Death portrayed both literally and physically. Those who struggle to survive in the skin they’re in, those who would die for the people they love and those who would kill for the people that matter the most.

Sophia. A girl nobody knew, a girl who couldn’t handle her life and the pain she faced every waking day. She was loved by only a brother, yet loved more than just him. She put her heart on the line and when it was trampled over, she couldn’t handle the amount of loss...
